Kim Kardashian's hairdresser speaks!

Philip Wolff, the stylist behind the pregnant E! star's rockin' new "blunt bangs," is giving us all the scoop on why Kanye West's gal decided to cut her hair.

"We chose to finally do this for real because it's very important to keep a woman feeling sexy with slight changes here and there, even while pregnant, although it should be done with caution depending on the person," Wolff tells E! exclusively. "I've known and been cutting Kim's hair for six years now, so I know when she's set and ready for something that she wants."

Wolff, who works out of Shades Natural Color Studio in Beverly Hills, says the 32-year-old mom-to-be was cautious of the hairdo commitment because of how many shoots she does. But last night, she said, "I think I am ready."

Kim was still feeling a little hesitant this morning (which was captured in videos she posted on her Twitter), but she finally went through with the cut. "She was ready, and I said, ‘Let's just do it,'" Wolff dished. "She is a person who is really set on when she wants something, so we just went for it."

"This is her first pregnancy, so it's a real big deal," Wolff says of the big makeover. "It's a lot of change for someone to go through."

Nonetheless, Wolff gushes, "[Kim] has the perfect versatile face shape with great cheekbones to support almost any look."

As for how Keeping Up With the Kardashians fans can get Kim's new ‘do? "I believe bangs can work with most people depending on what kind," Wolff says. "Bangs are a total world of their own, meaning there are so many categories of them to fit the individual. Length, density, and hair texture just to name a few.

"It also can take a bit of maintenance," Wollf adds. "So this must also be put into consideration, how much time one is willing to put into styling each day. Also weather can be an issue. In the middle of summer may not be the best time for super heavy bangs. It's also commitment, so before doing them make sure you consult thoroughly with your stylist about what would be best for you."
