Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Adrienne Maloof and Boyfriend Sean Stewart Split

That 20-year age gap proved to be too much for the reality star

Adrienne Maloof is back on Team Single.

Nearly two months after coming out as an item, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and her much younger beau, Sean Stewart, have called it quits, E! News confirms. 

"It's over and she broke up with him," a source close to Stewart tells us exclusively. "She needs a man." 

The source also added that the 20-year age gap was just too much for Maloof and created issues in the relationship, saying, "She just finally saw through that."

In January, six months after her divorce from husband Paul Nassif went public, a photo of the 51-year-old business mogul accepting a kiss on the cheek from Rod Stewart's 32-year-old son surfaced on the web, causing dating rumors to swirl.

"She is casually dating him," a source told E! News at the time. "They both come from the world of entertainment and understand all that comes with it. He has said age is just a number and it's very sexist to think that a man could date younger, but if a woman does it's a big deal.

"He thinks Adrienne is beautiful inside and outside," the source adds, "so who cares about age?"

Adrienne, apparently.
