Is The View losing yet another cohost?

Hot on the heels of Joy Behar's announcement that she would be leaving the long-running series after 16 years, a report has surfaced that Elisabeth Hasselbeck is also leaving the ABC daytime talk show. However, a rep for The View was quick to respond to the rumors of Hasselbeck's purported exit.

"Elisabeth Hasselbeck is a valued member of The View and has a long-term contract," a rep for the show tells E! News.

Hasselbeck has been with the show for nine years after replacing Lisa Ling in 2003.

As for Behar's exit, the star's rep tells E! News, "Joy felt that 17 years on one show was enough. She loved The View but felt that finding a home that would allow her to engage in more meaningful conversations was a direction she wanted to pursue. She should be announcing a new venture in the coming months."

US Weekly first reported the news of Hasselbeck's rumored exit.
