Is Justin Bieber sorry for arriving late for his London concert? You better, er, belieb it!

After showing up for his show at the 02 Arena nearly two hours late on Monday night, the singer was met with boos when he finally showed up. From those who stuck around, that is.

Since many of Bieber's fans are younger teenagers, a number of them left early because it was a school night, while others had to jet before he even took the stage in order to catch the train.

Now, via Twitter, the 19-year-old pop sensation is trying to make amends and insists he actually had only been 40 minutes late due to "technical issues."

"There is no excuse for that and I apologize for anyone we upset. However it was a great show and I'm proud of that," he tweeted.

Bieber also promised Tuesday's show "will run on time" and said he "[looks] forward to putting on an amazing show for everyone in attendance."

He added, "My relationship with the media is not always easy, but I'm trying. I'm all about the music and the performance and I respect my fans. I never have any intent to upset or let anyone down. And I'm not okay with things being exaggerated, once again sorry for anyone upset."
