ABCOnce Upon a Time's Mad Hatter may get his own fairytale ending.
ABC is considering creating a spinoff centered around the character, and in a twist, replacing the actor who originally played the role in the fantasy TV drama, an ABC rep confirms to E! News.
Sebastian Stan played the Mad Hatter during his six-episode stint on the show, but because he reportedly wasn't available to commit to a full spinoff series due to scheduling conflicts, ABC has begun to search for a new leading man for the possible show, according to Deadline.
The former Gossip Girl star made his debut on Once Upon a Time in season one, in an episode called "Hat Trick" which showed off the world of Wonderland.
