Not long after dishing that he is "quite happy" dating Katy Perry, John Mayer was spotted hitting the trails with his ladylove on a hike Friday in the Hollywood Hills at Fryman Canyon.
The duo looked like they were having a blast as they held hands and smiled at each other, with the "Wide Awake" crooner sporting a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball cap, black leggings and a white tank top, and Mayer wearing a New York Yankees cap, black workout pants and a red tank during their outdoor excursion.
A source tells E! News Mayer and Perry decided to go for a hike after leaving Perry's apartment and grabbing lunch at Sunset Towers. When they arrived, Mayer was seen getting out of the car and playing air drums, and they were both laughing.
The source said the couple seemed really happy, relaxed and kept smiling at each other as they made their way through the three-mile loop, which took them about an hour to complete.
Perry and Mayer have been spotted out and about quite a bit in the last few months, most recently attending President Barack Obama's inauguration, the inaugural ball and VIP after party together in Washington, D.C.
