Barack and Michelle Obama shared a sweet moment on stage at the 2013 Commander-in-Chief's Inaugural Ball when they danced to Al Green's "Let's Stay Together."

Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson performed her rendition of the classic song while the couple danced and tweeted her excitement right before taking the stage.

"Right now the President and First Lady will dance to Al Green's "Let's Stay Together," to be performed by… ME!!!" Hudson wrote. "Yes! Amazing night!"

Michelle Obama also tweeted about the dance, posting, "Just danced to 'Let's Stay Together' with the love of my life and the President of the United States. I'm so proud of Barack." Awww!

Last year, the president  belted out "Let's Stay Together" at a fundraiser at New York City's legendary Apollo Theater. Green was in attendance and after his impromptu performance, Obama said to him, "I cannot sing like you, I just wanted to show my appreciation."

Earlier today, Obama kicked off his second term as POTUS by taking the oath of office on the steps of the nation's Capitol in Washington, D.C. with the First Lady by his side. The event featured performances from Beyoncé, Kelly Clarkson and James Taylor.
