Who needs new footage when you have a three-eyed raven!

HBO has released a new promo for Game of Thrones' highly-anticipated third season, which returns March 31, and we're pretty sure it will have fans of George R.R. Martin's fantasy book series literally salivating.

Why? Because of the three-eyed raven, of course!

The new promo is actually set in our modern-day world (a first for the series), and features a three-eyed raven flying through a city as the ominous song  "The Rains of Castamere" plays. "Their world returns to ours," the promo reads. We. Can't Wait.

A three-eyed raven appears to Bran Stark's (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) dreams after his paralyzing injury and seemed to be trying to lead him to his family's crypt and Osha (Natalia Tena) remains suspiciously silent when Bran asks about the creature's significance. While we won't spoil non-readers, let's just say a three-eyed raven is definitely very significant. Crap, have we already said too much?!

Game of Thrones returns March 31 at 9 p.m. on HBO.
