Bravo/Margaret NortonIt's nice to know that Bethenny Frankel is getting some words of support from her former Real Housewives of New York nemesis Kelly Bensimon.
"I feel so bad for her," Bensimon exclusively told me about Frankel's recent announcement that she and hubby Jason Hoppy have split. "But she's a strong woman. She's an incredibly strong woman."
Bensimon also said she realizes that everything is intensified because of Frankel and Hoppy's careers on reality TV.
"Divorce is the worst time of your life, so I can't imagine my marriage and pregnancy on television and then it not working out," said Bensimon, whose marriage to celebrity photographer Gilles Bensimon ended in divorce. "I wish them both well. Jason is a very nice man, very solid."
Frankel's Housewives pal Alex McCord tells us she and the Skinnygirl tycoon are still in touch.
Saying she's "sad for both Bethenny and Jason," McCord told us, "I just hope they can resolve their divorce with as little acrimony and press as possible."
