Looks like Iron Man is heading to China!
The third installment in the wildly popular franchise began filming in Beijing last week after Marvel annouced that Chinese star Wang Xueqi was officially joining the Iron Man 3 production.
In the on-set photo, Xueqi—who plays evil scientist Dr. Wu in the flick—and Iron Man are pictured at the Chinese capital, standing outside of the southern city gate of Yongdingmen
It's unclear whether that's Robert Downey Jr. in the armor, but it is certain that the action hero will be taking his adventures to Asia.
Casting of the famous Chinese actor follows Marvel's decision to partner with DMG Entertainment, a Chinese distribution company.
Directed by Shane Black, Iron Man 3—which also stars Guy Pearce, Gwyneth Paltrow and Don Cheadle—hits theaters in the U.S. and China on May 3.
