In the market for some dazzling new holiday dresses? Kathy Hilton has you covered!

That's right, the multitasking mother, wife, socialite and jet-setter now has an expanding fashion empire under her belt, and the best is yet to come.

"It's every woman's dream to have her own clothing line. I didn't go to school for this, but I've been lucky enough to travel around the world and attend the couture shows in Paris and go to the New York shows and wear the clothes all these years," Hilton told us. "I understand women's bodies and I know that women don't want to spend a fortune to look good anymore."

To prove her point, Hilton hosted a swanky soiree at her immaculate home to showcase her seasonal offerings, which range from $350 to $750 and are currently sold at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue, just to name a few.

Highlights from the holiday line include glamorous formal dresses and ladylike lace frocks, as well as flowy goddess gowns with embellished accents. We also spied a heavy (yet tasteful) dose of sequins and sparkle on a number of shorter silhouettes, a hemline that Hilton felt passionately about. "I could never find anything short that I liked, so I made sure there were several in my line. I designed something for everyone," she shared.

Among our favorites was an elegant yet sassy ruffled design with sheer mesh sleeves, a look inspired by her daughter, Nicky. And we couldn't help but wonder if Hilton (who admits that opera costumes, of all things, inspire her) collaborates with her famous duo of daughters for style advice.

"To be honest, they have their businesses, and I have mine. When we do have family time together, I don't want to talk business," she explained. "But I'm their mom and I shop for them constantly. I know what they love, and when I design, they're always on my mind."

Sounds like mother knows best!
