And CBS has won the title of first network to cancel a new series in the 2012 fall TV season!

Sure, it's not really a title anyone wants to win, but that they did today when the network announced it was canceling its legal procedure Made in Jersey.

The Janet Montgomery-starrer has been pulled from CBS' Friday night line-up effective immediately, with reality series Undercover Boss set to replace it beginning Friday, Nov. 2.

Made in Jersey failed to impress in its 9 p.m. timeslot; the premiere brought in just 7.7 million viewers and a weak 1.1 rating in adults 18-49 demo. The series' second (and last) episode sunk even lower, garnering 5.8 million viewers and a 0.8 rating.

The show's cancellation will move CSI: NY back to the 9 p.m. timeslot, with reruns filling the void at 8 p.m. until new episodes of Undercover Boss fill the void.

For those keeping track of fall renewals and cancellations, NBC has ordered full seasons of Revolution, Go On and The New Normal, while Fox ordered more episodes of Ben and Kate and The Mindy Project.
