And she's shacking up at the same bougie hotel as Barack and Michelle Obama!
The FLOTUS, who has been flying solo so far at the DNC, has been staying about 20 minutes outside of Charlotte in Ballantyne, N.C., at the luxurious four-star Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge.
Security has naturally been heightened in the area following the arrival of Michelle and her motorcade, with sources reporting that one mile of roadway has been shut down around the hotel to accommodate the first family.
Michelle attended a fundraiser put on by the Convention Host Committee at the hotel in March earlier this year and reportedly was so impressed that she passed on the word to her husband, who decided the couple would stay there instead of uptown Charlotte.
And sources say Oprah will be staying there as well when she comes to town!
Winfrey wouldn't be the first celebrity to make a surprise appearance at a convention this year, as Clint Eastwood (now infamously) popped up at the Republican National Convention to introduce GOP candidate Mitt Romney.
And just earlier this week Michelle told our very own Ross Matthews that none other than Oprah would be the perfect person to introduce Barack for his big speech this evening. Might she have been hinting at something in the works?
Guess we'll all just have to tune in to President Obama's speech tonight to find out!
