Wiz Khalifa Busted for Marijuana Possession in Nashville

Hotel residents complained of a strong odor coming from the rapper's room

Rapper Wiz Khalifa (real name Cameron Thomaz) got a visit from the police on Saturday after residents started complaining about a strong marijuana odor while staying at a hotel in Nashville. From Wiz?! No way! (Clearly, we're being sarcastic).

Amber Rose's future hubby hasn't exactly been secretive about his love for ganja, but when authorities started knockin' on his door, he tossed the weed in hopes of steering clear of trouble.

Did it work?

Nope, not really.

According to the arrest report obtained by E! News, police said the room reeked of marijuana and that they saw the 24-year-old throw his blunt out the window. When asked if there was any more marijuana in the room, both Khalifa and his friend, 27-year-old Lonnie Howard, said there wasn't, but police later found more marijuana on Howard.

Howard and Khalifa both finally admitted to possessing marijuana (which was a smart move, especially after posting a picture like this on Instagram on the same day), and were cited for misdemeanor possession.

Khalifa and Howard have until May 14 to show up at the Davidson County courthouse for booking on the charges.
