They're out ta get Axl Rose on Twitter.
Maybe he pissed off fans one too many times after bailing on last weekend's induction ceremony for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but the Guns N' Roses frontman has now found himself the target of a pesky death hoax that's currently spreading like wildfire on the microblogging site.
Knockin' on heaven's door he's not!
While the hashtag #RIPAxlRose began trending on Twitter late last night (in particular among Brazilian followers, for some strange reason), per Gossip Cop, the ever-reclusive Rose is doing just fine and the rumor of his premature demise is absolutely false.
No doubt, that'll be a relief to those still holding out hope for a reunion of the original Gunners, which, alas, did not come to pass at the Hall of Fame bash. The flame-haired singer subsequently apologized to his followers in Cleveland for missing out on the festivities.
