The Voice has officially contracted Bieber Fever, y'all!

Yes, Justin Bieber made a "surprise" appearance on the hit NBC reality show to do a number of things, including premiere a clip from his brand-spankin'-new music video for his hit single "Boyfriend" and reveal the release date of his new album. With so much Bieber goodness being thrown at us, we almost forgot that two contestants were going to be eliminated from the competition! Alas, Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton each had to send home one of their singers.

So which contestants were eliminated? Plus, what did Christina have to say for herself after receiving some serious flack for sending fan favorite Jesse Campbell home last night?

Team Christina

Before getting to the results, host Carson Daly gave the mentors a chance to speak about Jesse's shocking instant elimination last night. "As surprising as I was...it's not my decision. I respect it. I fee like there was definitely a lot of thought put into it on her part," Adam Levine said. "I do think he was amazing. If he was on my team, I probably would have kept him around." Cee Lo Green added that he "respects" Christina's decision even if he doesn't understand it.

Finally, Christina addressed the controversy surrounding her decision. "I am no stranger to controversy, and I am OK with that. Look, I am fearless in the face of what I believe and I will defend every action that I make," she explained. "Jesse will go on and touch people with his voice. I wish him all the best."

Viewers decided to save Chris Mann, who performed Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" last night, leaving Ashley De La Rosa and Lindsey Paveo to perform for the chance to stay on the show. Ashley sang Lady Gaga's smash-hit "You and I." It wasn't Adam's favorite performance of Ashley's and Blake agreed, but both agree that they would keep her over Lindsey, who then took the stage with "Please Don't Go" by Mike Posner. Unable to control her emotions, Lindsey broke down at the end of the song, but Cee Lo still found her performance "wonderful."

"I really love these two girls a lot," a teary-eyed Christina said, before giving Ashley the boot, so Lindsey is heading for the semifinals!

Team Blake

Jermaine Paul was saved by America's vote, earning him a spot in the semifinals, leaving RaeLynn and Erin Willett to sing for their lives. Before his girls took the stage, Blake tweeted, "I feel sick right now," so we knew this wasn't going to be an easy decision for the country crooner, who let the members of his team open for him at a recent concert so they could "steal" his fans. So cool!

Erin put her own spin on a classic with her performance of "Proud Mary," which Christina praised, citing her "energy" and "spirit." In the final performance of the night, RaeLynn sang the Band Perry's "If I Die Young." Adam didn't love the performance, but said he thinks the teen is "great." In the end, Blake decided to keep Erin in the competition, sending RaeLynn packing!

It seems like The Voice sure is going after that tween-teen demographic! Boy band of the moment One Direction the Wanted took the stage to perform their new single "Chasing the Sun" and were joined by the members of Team Blake. But that wasn't all!

Bieber stole the show when he debuted a clip from the highly anticipated "Boyfriend" video. While it wasn't the whole video, Beliebers got their money's worth as the short clip featured their boy sexily whispering in a girl's ear, playing guitar and being groped by various ladies' hands! Bieber also revealed the release date of his new record: June 19! There's more! Bieber will perform "Boyfriend" for the first time on The Voice in just three weeks! Can you stand the wait?!

What did you think of tonight's episode? Do you think Christina and Blake made the right decisions? Are you excited for Bieber to perform on the show? Sound off in the comments!
