FOXAsia'h Epperson is on the road to recovery.
The former American Idol contestant was temporarily discharged from a New York hospital on Wednesday, her rep tells E! News.
So what's next for the season-seven semifinalist, who was seriously injured in a car accident earlier this month?
According to her rep, she will continue her kidney treatment at home for the next two weeks. After that time, she will be expected to return to the hospital to undergo surgery to repair her jaw and continue with her rehabilitation process.
"Asia'h looks forward to finally going home where she will be able to spend a night in her own bed," her rep adds. "She thanks those who have reached out to her during this time and extends her deepest apologies for not being able to personally respond to every [message]."
