The fight for Bully continued tonight with a star-studded premiere in Hollywood.

Sponsored by E! Entertainment and presented by Bing!, the screening at the Chinese 6 Theatres was cohosted by The Soup funnyman Joel McHale, E! NewsGiuliana Rancic and Jason Kennedy and Nickelodeon star Victoria Justice.

And it was just a couple hours before that...

The Weinstein Company announced that the documentary would be released unrated on Friday after the MPAA ratings board refused to change its original R rating to a PG-13.

"We have to tell the kids that it's OK to speak up," Wilmer Valderrama said when asked about bullying and the film's important message.

His Awake costar Jason Isaacs agreed. "We have to give them an outlet and let them know not to fear talking to us about these things," the actor shared with me. "It's important that they have a sounding board to feel safe to say something."

The ratings-board fight has captured the attention—and support—of folks like Justin Bieber and Johnny Depp.
