Outwit, outlast, outrun?

Survivor: Pearl Islands veteran Rupert Boneham is set to formally accept  the Libertarian Party's nomination to run for governor of Indiana on Saturday.

Considering the bearded, tie-dye-wearing wild man won the million-dollar jackpot for fan favorite on Survivor: All Stars eight years ago, it's clear he's got a leg up with voters already.

Per the party's website, Boneham should coast to the nomination tomorrow as the Libertarian delegates' gubernatorial choice at their 2012 state convention in Indianapolis, as he's running unopposed.

Hoping to follow in the footsteps of such celebrity governors as Jesse "The Body" Ventura and Arnold Schwarzenegger, the freedom-loving reality star announced his candidacy back in October, saying his background work with troubled youth in his nonprofit charity, Rupert's Kids, gave him the needed qualifications to provide leadership to all Indianans.

We'll see how Boneham does come November.
