Liam Hemsworth Creates Panemonium at Canadian Premiere of The Hunger Games

It's no wonder Liam Hemsworth was pegged to play hunky Gale in "The Hunger Games," as he arrived to the premiere decked out in Gucci.

Liam Hemsworth gave his female co-stars, Elizabeth Banks and Jennifer Lawrence, the night off and served up all the style with his fellow male lead, Josh Hutcherson, at the Canadian premiere of The Hunger Games yesterday.

The 22-year-old Australian actor sported his new movie star mantle in the form of a black and white plaid Gucci evening jacket from the Spring 2012 collection, along with a black button up shirt, black slacks and lace-up shoes. The runway look included a bow-tie, but we're glad Liam didn't bite.

Noticeably absent from the event?

Longtime girlfriend Miley Cyrus, 19—the two met while shooting, The Last Song—so, he had to fly solo with his movie buds. Aww, poor Gale Liam!

The boys enjoyed the Panemonium as they promoted their film, which opens this Friday and is thought to be the most anticipated of the year. Our stomachs are already growling in anticipation…
