Talk about a transformer! Josh Duhamel has revealed his newly shorn mohawk—and we've gotta wonder whether he was either really bored with his hairstyle or has another reason for the drastic 'do.

So what brought on this change?

Per Los Angeels radio station K-Earth 101, which had the first pic, the 39-year-old actor got the sure-to-be-buzzed-about buzz cut for his new flick, Scenic Route. He broke out the new look over the weekend while out and about in L.A.

Duhamel costars with Dan Fogler in the drama about two friends whose friendship is severely tested when they're stranded in the desert.
