The world lost a huge talent when Notorious B.I.G. was gunned down 15 years ago in a shocking L.A. drive-by.

The details surrounding his death have remained murky despite an FBI investigation that spanned eight years and hawked its own conspiracy theories.

But one thing remains certain: that the influential rapper was deeply loved and respected by those he continues to inspire.

Stars gave props to Biggie today, and here's what they had to say…

Lil' Kim appeared on MTV's RapFix Live and recalled a memorable conversation she had with the late rapper: "I was his biggest fan, rockin' with him. And I was shorty, I was his pride and joy. Sometimes he would say to me, 'I feel like you're my baby, like I birthed you.'"

She also paid tribute to his legacy. "He should be proud of himself. He should be very proud," Kim said. "He did some good things when he was here."
