Allied-THAJennifer Lawrence was at the Broward Mall in Plantation, Florida on Thursday, making the first stop in her U.S. tour promoting The Hunger Games, in which she stars with Josh Hutcherson.
The 21-year-old Oscar nominee wore a Helmut Lang drapey black shirt with slouchy black trousers from H&M, and topped it off with a structured white Elie Saab jacket with cascade lapel. The outfit seemed more suited for the mother of a star rather than an up-and-coming starlet. Even her hair, piled scrappily on top of her head, was too drab. The most youthful thing she had on were strappy, black platform sandals (which were very cute by the way...).

This look was just too old, too blah and not exciting enough for someone who's playing the girl on fire! Jennifer should be brimming with anticipation right now, but this outfit is like something Meryl Streep would wear to a luncheon honoring her for a 17th Oscar Nomination.
Come on, Jennifer, take a cue from your Hunger Games stylist Cinna and make yourself unfuhgeddable!
