It took a couple decades of exposure, but it's finally happened: Ashley Olsen has cured herself of the acting bug.

Mary-Kate Olsen and her twin sis cover Elle UK (in suitable double covers) this month, and the child star turned designer was quick to explain that while her sister may continue to pull double duty as a designer and actor, Ashley's thespian days are totally and completely behind her.

So you can stop holding out hope for that all-star Full House reunion.

"I don't have to be a pretty face," Ash told the mag. "I've done that, but now it's important and liberating to be on the other side of the lens. I don't like to be the center of attention anymore."

What she does want to be the center of are her fashion lines—The Row, Elizabeth and James and Olsenböye—with Mary-Kate.

"We are perfectionists," she said. "We've always wanted to be closely involved with everything, totally hands on—that's why it works. If we step away, it stops working. I know it sounds controlling, but that's how it has to be."

And despite their slightly divergent career plans, Ashley says the sisters are nevertheless mirrors of each other.

"We're attracted to different things, but we arrive at the same place," she said. "I think we're probably unaware of how intuitive it might seem from the outside. It's basically one thought process shared between two people."

Still, it would seem there's only room in this town for two acting Olsens. Way to fill the gap, Elizabeth.
