After all that Royal Wedding madness, it's time for the U.K. to get back to work—and that includes its newlywed prince.

Instead of jetting off to Jordan, the Seychelles or any of the other rumored honeymoon destinations that have been tossed around, the newly minted Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (that's of course Prince William and Kate Middleton to us unfamiliar with royal titles just rolling off the tongue) will be hanging around London, and Wills we even be headed back to work next week.

Say what! you ask?

OK, here's the deal. Since William is still on active duty as a Search and Rescue pilot with the Royal Air Force (RAF), he will return to work instead of immediately heading to some glorious (and probably very expensive and private) honeymoon destination with his lovely new bride, the official royal wedding website confirmed.

"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen not to depart for a honeymoon immediately. Instead, after spending the weekend privately in the United Kingdom, The Duke will return to work as a search and rescue pilot next week," read a statement on the site.

Exactly where they will stay in the U.K. this weekend, their first as a married couple, still has not been revealed to us commoners, and the couple have asked that their privacy (yeah, ok) please be respected for the remainder of this weekend together. (Getting busy, you two crazy kids?) They've also asked that they be entitled to their privacy on their honeymoon, rumored to be taking place in either Jordan or Kenya (where Wills proposed) whenever they do decide to take it.

A smiling and casually dressed Wills and Kate jetted out of Buckingham Palace (perhaps with hang overs?) holding hands this morning and hopped in a helicopter with some luggage and a bouquet of white flowers. They were rumored to be heading to one of the royal residences in Balmoral, Scotland. They have said, however, that they won't be spending this workless four-day weekend—overflowing with lots of Pimm's and partying—at their private home on Anglesey.

Well, wherever they are, we wish them a relaxing, love-filled weekend!
