Lindsay Lohan is already talking!

The trial-bound starlet, who's currently free on $75,000 bail pending an appeal of the 120 days in jail she just got for probation violation, took time out today to tape an interview for The Tonight Show With Jay Leno that will air Tuesday.

Does that count as community service?

There has been no leakage yet, as far as what the rehabbed starlet—who wore a satiny black jumpsuit for the occasion—had to say, but at least she had a movie role to talk about in addition to, er, other stuff.

Really, this is quite the coup for Leno. The Late Show With David Letterman only thought it was getting Lohan to read the Top Ten list in February, a few days after she posted $40,000 bail after pleading not guilty to felony theft and getting slapped with jail time for—say it with us, folks—probation violation.

But while he doesn't ask the toughest questions, it's not like Leno can ignore Lindsay's current predicament. She's got a trial on her now misdemeanor theft charge ahead of her, plus 480 hours of community service, including 120 at the L.A. County Morgue, for continuing to get into trouble while still on probation for dual DUIs in 2007.

In fact, we bet they shared more than a few laughs.
