Superstars of comedy unite for anniversary short film paying homage to rap trio's seminal 1987 hit

The superstars of comedy have aligned for the 30-minute short film Fight For Your Right Revisited, an homage to the Beastie Boys' epic 1987 classic, in which a who's who of belly-laugh-inducing stars play various past and present versions of the Mike D, Ad-Rock and MCA.

The film is due out in full sometime in the next few weeks in advance of the group's highly anticipated album, Hot Sauce Committee Part II, though the official trailer was released just yesterday.

So who pops up? Will Ferrell, Seth Rogen, John C. Reilly, Jack Black, Danny McBride, Will Arnett, Stanley Tucci, Susan Sarandon, Jason Schwartzman, Elijah Wood (who knew he pulled such a mean Ad-Rock?), Ted Danson, Steve Buscemi, Rainn Wilson and a blade-wielding Chloë Sevigny.

Well, you do have to fight for your right to party. And some fights require weapons.
