Roll out the red carpet! Grammy nominations have just been announced, and while music may have a lot to do with it (humor us here), the honor we're most excited about is who looks best on the carpet. While you ponder your picks for this season's prettiest songbird, here's a quick recap of some of our favorites over the years:
Britney Spears (2000): Way back before Britney declared she was no longer a girl and not yet a woman, the pop princess was just a pretty teen who brought mom as her date to the Grammys.
Alicia Keys (2006): Swept-back hair, winged eyes and a charming smile make for one glamorous Grammy guest—one of Keys' best red carpet looks ever.
Lady Gaga (2010): Hard to believe but Gaga's first trip to the Grammys was this past February—and what an appearance it was, with exaggerated hair and makeup and a Jetsons-inspired Armani Privé gown.
Miley Cyrus (2008): The Hannah Montana star was still experimenting with her look when she made her first official appearance at the Grammys three years ago. She had star quality even back then, but we prefer her newer, more natural look.
