Susan Sarandon will make for one sexy mother-in-law.

The Oscar winner's look-alike daughter, actress Eva Amurri, became engaged to former MLS soccer player Kyle Martino over the weekend, and then tweeted the news like it was no big deal.

"What a week: I became a cartoon character, did a Maxim shoot, and got engaged! Lol. Not bad, not bad. Thanks for all the congrats!!" the 25-year-old wrote on Saturday.

What else did she have to say about her future hubby?

Eva gushed in earlier tweets that he is "the most wonderful man on this planet."

And her new fiancé took to Twitter on Saturday, too, proudly announcing: "I asked, and @EAmurri said yes."

Yesterday he added: "Thanks to all my Tweeps for the comments and best wishes for Eva and I. We are so happy and can't wait to set the date."

Martino no longer plays pro soccer and now works as a commentator on the Fox Soccer Channel. He is originally from Connecticut, but the couple live together in California.

At 29, Martino is only two years younger than his future mom-in-law's current beau, Jonathan Bricklin.

This time last year, Sarandon and Tim Robbins called it quits after 23 years together.
