In case you're in need of something other than the usual holiday tunes this season, Coldplay has just released a new song called "Christmas Lights" along with the requisite video.
In the clip, Chris Martin and Co. perform on a small stage that looks a bit like it was crafted out of leftover Moulin Rouge set pieces. That's not to say it's a bad thing. Plus, the song is pretty catchy. We're just not sure how we feel about the back-up string section dressed like a trio of Elvis Presleys. (Back-up if Chris' missus Gwyneth Paltrow, however, we would have totally been down with.)
But what say you? Will the boys be giving Bing Crosby or Nat King Cole a run for his money with this, or is it equivalent to a lump of coal in your stocking?
