Housewives' Kelly: No Baby Gift for Bethenny

You'd think these two NYC reality TV stars would eventually make up and be friends. Nope, not gonna happen

Sounds like the next season of The Real Housewives of New York City may be as scandalous as the last.

"The minute I can, I will call you and give you all the dirt," Housewife Kelly Killoren Bensimon tells me from her home in NYC. "I promise I will give you everything. I'm going to be much more talkative in the press this season than I was last season."

And as us fans know, last season included lots and lots of feuding with Bethenny Frankel.

So has Kelly gone baby-gift shopping for first-time mom-to-be Bethenny?

"Everyone's like, 'Oh, they're friends,' " Kelly explains. "No, we're just on a TV show together. So it's not appropriate for me to give her a gift." (Kelly also says she doesn't like giving baby gifts until the baby is born.)

Kelly says she is continually working to repair her reputation, which she feels has been unfairly trashed on- and off-camera.

Even so, she says that has nothing to do with her recent charity work.

Just last week, Kelly donated presents at the Food Bank for New York City in Harlem along with a check that will provide more than 25,000 meals for those in need.

"I want to put my money where my mouth is," she says. "Instead of talking here about how I can help people, I actually want to do something about it."

She also served meals the following day at the Food Bank's soup kitchen. One woman recognized Kelly from Housewives. "She said to me, 'Girl, you better watch out. You're the wild one,' " Kelly says. "I said, 'If I was the wild one, I wouldn't be here.' "

That doesn't mean it's all work at no play. Kelly was also spotted last week at the UrbanDaddy holiday party sponsored by A Diamond Is Forever at the Stephan Weiss gallery.
