Shhh...We Know Something We're Not Supposed to About Dexter

Michael C. Hall, Dexter Dan Littlejohn/Showtime

Want to know a deep, dark Dexter secret?

Well, we have one to share, but we should warn you: It's something that is apparently so spoilery and so hush-hush that resident Dexter housewife Julie Benz freaked out when she heard that one of her costars told us about it.

Julie's reaction? "He said that?!" Followed by a quick: "They'll kill me if I say anything!"

So what is the big secret, who spilled the beans, and what else did we guess about Rita that made Julie's jaw drop?

Mollee Gray and Nathan Trasoras' devoted fan base made all the difference this week on So You Think You Can Dance. Had Mollee and Nathan's fans not voted their couple safe during last night's competition show, the bottom six would have had a different composition, and it's possible that another couple might have gone home.

See Locklear's Triumphant Return to Melrose Place

Loading...

Heather Locklear really does have something goin' on. Maybe it's her 30 years of experience in series television or maybe it's that her boobs look fantastic, but whatever the source of her power, Locklear's ability to transform TV shows appears to remain entirely intact.

Heather Locklear (re)joins the cast of Melrose Place this coming Tuesday, and it looks like she still has exactly the chilly authority the CW needs to up Melrose's profile in TV land. Melrose's prospects remain realistically dim, but should Heather's arrival generate enough buzz and a moderate ratings increase, the show might live out the season and be considered for a second year. It's hard to tell what people really want from their nighttime soaps, so who's to say why the show is struggling, but Locklear's involvement is as likely as any other effort to bring about a series renewal.

Now, as for the content of these three sneak peeks, Amanda's definitely moving in to Ella's (Katie Cassidy) PR firm, but where will she live now that she's back in town? Find out:

The End Is Nigh: Fox Officially Cancels Dollhouse

Eliza Dushku, Dollhouse Frank Ockenfels/FOX

UPDATE: Joss Whedon has spoken. "I feel [Dollhouse] is getting better pretty much every week," he just wrote to his fans on Whedonesque.com. "And I think you'll agree in the coming months. I'm grateful that we got to put it on, and then come back and put it on again." Joss also promised, "By the time the last episode airs, you'll know what my next project is."
________

Dollhouse is done. We knew this was coming—Dollhouse creator Joss Whedon recently posted on fansite Whedonesque.com that the writers were "not exactly saving all the good stuff for 14-22," but still. 'Tis sad.

Insiders confirm to us that Fox has officially closed the book on the Friday-night sci-fi series. (Series producer and Joss Whedon sister-in-law Maurissa Tancharoen, who also guest stars in an upcoming episode as an active named Kilo, tweeted confirmation as well, saying, "Yes. Cancelled. Sad but true.")

We're hearing that episode 13 serves as a season finale "in a significant way and gives Joss enough time to wrap up the stories."

The show is currently on hiatus for November sweeps (seeing as how its negligible ratings would more than likely drag down Fox's average), but is set to return beginning Dec. 4 with double-booked Fridays.

So is there any chance the series could go to another network?

Grey's Anatomy Sneak Peeks: Izzie's Back, and It Is Awkward

Oh, Izzie, you are a heartbreaker. In these three sneak peeks for Thursday's all-new Grey's Anatomy, the highly controversial but never uninteresting Dr. Isobel Stevens (Katherine Heigl) returns to Seattle Grace to make Alex (Justin Chambers) miserable all over again.

We find that we're half mad at her and we're half glad to see her back and looking so well. (What about you? Where do you fall on this issue?)

Want someone else to be mad at, instead of Iz? Click in to see Kim Raver's new character, Teddy, be all buddy-buddy with Owen (Kevin McKidd), while Jackson (Jesse Williams) continues to put the moves on Cristina (Sandra Oh).

This Just In: Have Lindsay Price and Josh Radnor Broken Up?

Josh Radnor, Lindsay Price Donato Sardella/Getty Images

• TV Power Couple Shuts Down? It seems that the lovely Lindsay Price may have hit a rough patch in her life. First came news that ABC wasn't picking up new episodes of her witch dramedy, Eastwick, and now E! News reports that she and boyfriend Josh Radnor, star of CBS' hit How I Met Your Mother, have parted ways. Reps have declined to comment on the report. We feel bad for the poor sweet kid if it's true. Oh well, at least she's still beautiful and talented.

• Not a Shock: To the great disappointment of almost no one (or, to be fair and specific, only 3.6 percent of voters in our fall TV Save One Show poll), the Hollywood Reporter says that ABC is shutting down the Kelsey Grammer sitcom Hank and taking it off the air post-hasty.

• Don't Panic, Space Travelers: Ratings for the second episode of ABC's V dropped a sharp 29 percent in the 18-49 demographic, but we don't care. Elizabeth Mitchell and Morena Baccarin remain awesome.

Celia in Michigan: Please tell us that Gossip Girl isn't get canceled! If that happens, I will be so upset.

Aaron Carter Cries Backstage at Dancing With the Stars

DWTS, Aaron Carter ABC/Adam Larkey

He's a sensitive soul.

That's what we can tell you after meeting up with Aaron Carter backstage at Dancing With the Stars last night, after he got the heave-ho.

Truth told, the poor guy was almost inconsolable and choked up during the interview. "Of course it's sad," he told us after the show. "You know how it is. But I'm glad we made it this far."

"It just feels empty now," his partner, Karina Smirnoff, added. "Like we were taken away."

On the flip side, another contestant was bouncing off the walls with excitement that it was Aaron who was going home. Who was it?

Attention, television fans: Wee fledgling TV shows need your help!

All of the new fall shows have premiered, and as quickly as they came into our lives, some of them will be departing due to low ratings.

These series are all very much on the bubble, because of low ratings, lack of critical response or some combination thereof. Each one has unique circumstances, but all are unlikely to live out the year, unless something drastic happens to convince network bosses that they should take a second look. And that's what this special fall edition of Save One Show is all about: We're giving you fans a chance to explain why your show deserves another chance.

So which of the shows on shaky ground do you most want to see more of?

The Glee producers have heard you fans loud and clear about your desire to see more Puck and Rachel—or more Finn and Rachel—and are prepared to give you what you want: More.

"We never expected that to catch on quite so well," executive producer Brad Falchuk told me of the show's short-lived Puck and Rachel hookup and subsequent fandemonium. "So we'll have to do something about that."

Testify!

Last night I hit up a secret screening of the next episode of Glee, and scored scoop from the cast and creative team on the show's romantic entanglements, Madonna and more. So who's on Team Puck? Team Finn? What evil things is Rachel up to? See the video above.

As for Artie and Tina's new romance, the recent allegations from the disabled actors community and what else lies ahead, here's what you Gleeks have to know...

Late News: Jen Morrison Confirms Her House Exit

House: Poor Jennifer Morrison has publicly confirmed that her time as Dr. Allison Cameron on House is done. Jen's admission came in an interview on The Bonnie Hunt Show that's scheduled to air Wednesday. Bonnie asked, "You're done with House?" and Jen replied: "I am, as far as I know, yes." (Press play on the video above to see for yourself, and/or use this thingamabobber to find out when The Bonnie Hunt Show is on in your area if you want to watch the interview in its entirety.) But riddle us this, TV fans, if Jen thinks she's done, why do the show's producers keeping talking about bringing her back for guest spots? Are they just leading us on?

Gossip Girl: We dare you to not tap your feet to the CW's new Gaga-on-Gossip-Girl promo.

My Life on the D-List: Bravo has picked up season six of Kathy Griffin's brilliant, multi-Emmy-winning reality series, My Life on the D-List. The divine Ms. Griffin is also slated to appear on an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit later this season.

Chuck: Terminator 2 star Robert Patrick (renowned badass of screens large and small) will guest on Chuck later this season as a mysterious figure from John Casey's (Adam Baldwin) past. (Mmm...any chance he's going to play Casey's dad?)

Have you come to terms with Jennifer Morrison's exit from House, or are you still mourning the loss of an original castmember?
