Which Reality TV Shows Rocked Your Summer?
As we say goodbye to summer, we say goodbye to reality TV's favorite season. There's something about summer's slow heat—not to mention those vast empty spaces in broadcast TV schedules—that truly allows reality stars to shine bright.
Whether your favorite shows are high-brow documentaries (Boston Med), extreme-lifestyle stories (19 Kids and Counting, Deadliest Catch or, heck, Jersey Shore), or just brain-melting reality dating competitions (Bachelor Pad), there's a summer reality TV show for every taste. Tell us which flavor you loved this summer:
Kara DioGuardi and American Idol Officially Break Up
Songwriter judge Kara DioGuardi has officially been eliminated by American Idol, after just two seasons with the show.
The separation was announced by a press release distributed by Fox at 5 p.m. on the Friday before a long holiday weekend, effectively burying the news for days, if not forever.
So what platitudes did DioGuardi and Fox exchange in their official breakup announcement, and who pointedly did not comment on Kara's exit?

Will There Be An Office Movie?
Office boss Paul Lieberstein promises us fans that Steve Carell's seriously sad departure from The Office is not the beginning of the end for the Dunder Mifflin empire.

"Randy's locked in and pumped about it," says a source. "They'll officially announce with the other judges."
But who are those other Idol judges going to be? Here's what insiders reveal to us from behind the scenes:
Bristol Palin Puts Her Dancing Shoes On!
Just days after hanging out with her fellow DWTS cast members, Bristol Palin is ready to get down.
The former first daughter of Alaska just joined her partner Mark Ballas at a studio to begin rehearsing for the upcoming battle in the ballroom.
What's more, the sight of Bristol happily hoofing it may just put to rest some of the speculation that the 19-year-old has been a bit difficult when it comes to preparing for the competition.
Either way, we can't wait to tune in!
