David Duchovny--in character as novelist and friendly pervert Hank Moody, of course (what did you think we meant by that headline?)--will be back for more sexy time on Californication.

Premium cable net Showtime just announced that it's picking up a third 12-episode season of the depraved but oddly sweet sex comedy starring Duchovny, Natascha McElhone, Madeline Zima and Evan Handler.

Season two of the series has two episodes remaining, and we've got the dish below on who might die, get a divorce or perhaps even leave California forever...

• Who's going to die? Word is someone's cocaine problem becomes a full-blown crisis.

• Who's getting divorced? Well, who's still married? Runkle and Marcy. Who's boning a porn star with a heart of gold? Runkle. Yes, it's horrible, but don't worry, chances are Marcy won't take this breakup lying down.

• Who's ditching their family? Someone we love dearly has gotten an out-of-town opportunity and might be going away for good.
