If Michael C. Hall wasn't so good-looking, the new season-six promo for Dexter would be super creepy.
Don't worry, it's still regular creepy, because Dexter has a message for you guys. Come the fall, he'll be feeling like his old self again. That both comforts and worries us. Glee: Chris Colfer talked to TVLine.com about his Emmy race, and he thinks it's rather odd that he's competing in the comedy category, seeing as he cried "in every episode." Plus, he hints at wanting a certain storyline for Kurt and Blaine (Darren Criss) next season. Any ideas, Gleeks?
The Amazing Race: CBS just ordered a 20th (yes, you read that right) season of the Emmy-winning reality competition, which will air in the spring of 2012. The 19th season is racing (fun with puns!) to televisions on Sundays this fall.
Nikita: Maggie Q tells AOL that creator Craig Silverstein is ready and willing to throw tons of obstacles in front of Michael (Shane West) and Nikita in season two. "He just wants to keep the audience on their toes," Maggie says. Mikita fans, prepare for some angst next season.
Hart of Dixie: Rachel Bilson's new CW show has a just-released promo of the series premiere, "Perfect Day." By the by, we've screened the pilot (more on all those later), and it's so much cute fun that we almost exploded in a cloud of butterflies and glitter. Plus, it has Friday Night Lights' Scott Porter with a Southern accent. Sold.
Primetime Emmy Awards: It was announced yesterday that Mike & Molly's Melissa McCarthy and Fringe's Joshua Jackson will be announcing the nominations for the 63rd Emmys. This duo is WWK approved. Now if only they'll be reading their own names...
TV on DVD: Whatcha gonna get when you order Fringe, Supernatural, and The Vampire Diaries on DVD? Good question, people. Among the usual commentary and trailer business, you can expect:
- Fringe: Gag reel, four featurettes exploring the duality of worlds, and pop-up commentary on "Os" (Episode 316). Release date: Sept. 6, 2011.
- Supernatural: A really smoking hot cover shot of Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki. You can't possibly want more than that. Release date: Sept. 13, 2011.
- The Vampire Diaries: Gag reel, three featurettes on TV werewolf magic, deleted scenes and a breakdown of all the love triangles. Release date: August 30, 2011.
