It's official. Teen Mom 2's Leah Messer wants to be a solo act.

The reality star filed for divorce from husband Corey Simms after just six months of matrimony, E! News has sadly confirmed.

In their short time together, the two faced plenty of turmoil.

There was a breakup, then reconciliation, then eventual marriage. There was news that one of their year-old twin daughters, Aliannah, had a developmental disorder.

The final straw, according to magazine accounts last week, came when Corey allegedly plundered the couple's joint bank account to buy a new truck.

Still, fellow Teen Mom Kailyn Lowry struck an optimistic note amid the dire headlines, tweeting, "They're not get divorced!"

Alas, that turned out not to be the case.

"Leah filed on April 14," a staffer at the Kanawha County Clerk's Office told E! News this morning. Messer, 18, did not state a reason for her split from Simms, 20. And there was no immediate word on custody of Aliannah and Aleeah. "There hasn't been a hearing date set yet. The documents are not public record," the clerk added.

Too bad. We were really pulling for those two.
