But when we heard the news that Coach Taylor was being courted by FX for a new drama pilot, we started the frantic bouncing up and down that we usually save for when free bagels are dropped off in the break room.

Powers, a new pilot from FX, is a police procedural set in a world where people with superpowers are part of everyday life. It's based on the graphic novel series by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming, and Kyle Chandler is in talks to star. To make this possible casting beyond awesome, Mr. Chandler would be joining the FX family along with his FNL wife, Connie Britton, who has already signed on to star in American Horror Story (from Glee's Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuck). TV overlords, make this happen.
Bones: TVGuide.com reports that Tina Majorino (Veronica Mars, Big Love) will guest star as Special Agent Genny Shaw. Agent Shar will help Booth in his hunt for the sniper Jacob Broadsky. Perhaps she can help Booth and Bones hunt for their gonads so they can strap 'em on and finally get together. Man up, you two!
Glee: Jane Lynch tells Access Hollywood that Sue Sylvester will channel David Bowie in an upcoming episode. What more information do you need? Oh, right. It probably has nothing to do with Finchel.
Gossip Girl & 90210: Monday, April 18 is the date these two shows return, and the CW has a super fun bicoastal promo to help put you in the mood. Wink.
The Good Wife: The CEO of Ashleymadison.com tells E! that he cannot wait to watch Sarah Silverman play a character based on himself in an upcoming episode. He tells us there is "no one better to play me." Will he still feel that way if Sarah ends up dead by episode's end? We'll get back to you on that.
Betty White: The Golden Girl is headed back to NBC to host a hidden-camera show, set to air next season. It's tentatively titled Betty White's Off Their Rockers, and would feature senior citizens pulling pranks on young whippersnappers. Betty will act as executive producer and continue with her role on Hot in Cleveland.
