Say what you will about the whole reality-dating-game-true-love thing—but we're drinkin' the Alerto Kool-Aid and lovin' it!

Adorably lovelorn Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky chose front running Latin lovah Roberto Martinez as her main squeeze in last night's finale, and we were lucky enough to chat up the supercute couple today, along with Bachelorette loser-Bachelor frontrunner Chris Lambton.

Here's the juice:

"We're just a normal couple, and we're in love and happy," Ali gushed the morning after she and her betrothed were able to come out in public. "There's no reason [this] wouldn't work!"

And the ridiculously sweet Roberto agrees, swearing that all those fauxmance rumors are just that (referring, of course, to the Jake and Vienna trainwreck). "She'll always be a priority for me," he promised—and yes, it was as gushy as it sounds. "She's what makes everything else worth it. That's what life is about, sharing it with someone special. I haven't really followed too many of the other couples, [but] I just think of [us] in normal terms."

OK, but let's get back to the basics: How the heck did this love story happen?! We saw from week one of The Bachelorette that these two had some mondo chemistry, but how and when did Roberto edge out runner up Chris?

"I knew for sure with 100% certainty that it was Roberto during our last date together," Ali tells us. "When we were in the rain and together and just everything was so perfect and wonderful and I felt so good. I didn't want to be with anyone else. I couldn't focus on Chris, [and] I just wanted to spend more time with Roberto. That's when I knew for sure."

Oh, who's she kidding? It happened earlier than that. "In retrospect, looking back to the first night, that feeling that I had when I first saw him was like nothing like I'd ever experienced. I think I fell in love at first sight." All together now...awww.

And if that wasn't enough, Ali adds: "The way he treats me, the way he loves me, I never imagined how good it could really be. It's a feeling I can't describe. I never knew a love like this was possible."

"I'm a lucky man," Roberto told E! News when asked what he loves about Ali. "I respect her for things like [breaking the rules on the show]. She's just a class act, and I'm a lucky guy. Not that I didn't know it, but Ali is so supportive. She's more than I could ever hope for."

So what about all those rumors the twosome has battled throughout the season--you know, the cheating and being friends before shooting the show?

"We definitely didn't know each other before the show," Ali laughed. Added Roberto: "I wish I did! I wouldn't have had to go on the show. I could've stolen her up right there."

Here's the real deal, courtesy of Ali—get ready, it's riveting stuff: "He played baseball in the town next to my hometown." Yep, it's as simple as that!

So they're happy, they're healthy and they're together—not to mention the lovey-dovey sweetness between the two.

But what about the fan favorite and heartbroken Chris? As would be expected, he was just as kind and supportive when we chatted with him this morning, too.

"I definitely felt [Ali and I] had a connection, [but] I'm thankful that she didn't prolong it if she knew 100% that it was Roberto. She's an amazing woman. She didn't want to make me hurt. And if she would've kept me around for the final rose ceremony, it would've hurt me more."

And what about rumors that Chris might be the next Bachelor (an idea we're not totally onboard with—he's too kind and pure!)?

"Honestly, it's something I'll have to think long and hard about," he tells us. "It was hard watching so much of my personal life and intimate details of dating and love on TV. It's hard to share that kind of thing with how ever many millions of people watch this show. It's definitely something I'll have to really, really think about. I'm not really sure if I want to share all that again." Whew, we agree!

Ali and Roberto think it'd be great, though—in addition to a few others.

"If Chris chooses to do it, I think it's his experience," says Ali. "I just want him to be happy, and we wish him the absolute best. I [also] love Kirk; Craig is just hysterical, super fun to be around! He'd make a great Bachelor. He'd be really entertaining. There are a few options." Add Roberto: "Among the other guys, it was just a really good group."

And remember, host Chris Harrison told us last week he's game for Chris (or Kirk!), too.

So what's you're take on all this Bachelorette fun? Are you on the Alerto train, too? And more importantly, do you like the celeb moniker we gave them?! Cast your Bachelor votes below and give all sorts of congrats to the happy couple, too.
