After winning American Idol, giving his wife a celebratory kiss and fielding questions right and left from a hungry room of press, Kris Allen got to say those infamous postwin words when asked what he plans to do next: "I'm going to Disney World!"

The Arkansas underdog-turned-hero wasn't just throwing out this classic victory cliché for fun. He was dead serious.

Here's why…

The newly crowned American Idol signed a deal with Disney to appear in an advertisement for the park's new American Idol Experience attraction at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida where he says the famous line and also sings the Disney staple "When You Wish Upon a Star."

However, shooting the spot wasn't an easy road for the mild-mannered, soft-spoken Kris.  According to MTV News, Kris wasn't giving the producers the level of energy they needed for the spot and repeatedly asked the singer to do the "I'm going to Disney World" line over and over and over.

Here's how MTV saw it go down between the producers and Kris: "Be more excited!" the producer asked Kris. Kris tried to up the energy: 'I'm going to Disney World!' 'You can do better than that! Scream it!' the producer said. Kris tried again. The producer pushed more. Kris tried again. And then an Idol stage manager rushed in and started yelling at the other producer. 'That's the best you're gonna get! Let him be himself! He doesn't do excitement!' "

What do you think of Kris and Disney? Think Adam would've been given the same opportunity?
