But this time, they really mean it. Now that Ty is off the show (he got the boot last night), the couple's No. 1 priority is baby making. Read on...
It's not that he's glad he's off the show (well, maybe just a little bit), but he's definitely happy to spend time on something he's been thinking and talking about all season: getting that wife of his preggers.
"Me and Jewel want to start a family, that's our No. 1 priority right now," Ty told E! News after last night's show. "I'm going to get home; I've got about 500 heads of cattle to work, and then we're going to go on vacation. Maybe by this time next season, she'll be out to here [as he makes a fake baby bump with his arms] and too fat to do this," meaning join the show next season. As we all know, Jewel had to leave this season due to an injury.
Ty might have seemed a bit reserved on the show (and certainly stiff on the dance floor), but his fellow contestants tell us he was a real cutup. Melissa Rycroft tells us, "Ty had the world's greatest jokes. Before every show, I would walk into the red room, and he would look at me with a straight face and stoic voice and whip out the greatest line ever that would get everyone laughing." Gilles Marini agrees: "Every time he opened his mouth, it was something funny."
