Find out who is doomed (romantically) on Gossip Girl and what's to come on Housewives

Leighton Meester, Gossip GirlGiovanni Rufino / The CW

Yes, it's true. Chuck and Blair are over. But could there be a silver lining for us Gossip Girl fans? Could there be something in tonight's rough-and-tumble fights between the two worth watching? We've got the scoop on your beloved Upper East Siders.

Plus, scoop on these burning Q's:

Is Gale Harold ever coming back to Desperate Housewives?

Who let the Dolls out, and where can you see the Beek these days? (One Tree Hill isn't the answer we're looking for.)

Plus, oh yeah, who's playing tie me up, tie me down on House?!

ABC/RON TOM

Cheryl in San Jose, Calif.: Do you have any information on how Gale Harold is doing? Any chance we'll see him on Desperate Housewives in the future?
Yes! Desperate Housewives show runner Marc Cherry tells us, "We are planning to write him in before the end. We had to wait while he did his recovery, but he will be back."

Rachel in San Diego: Now that we know Katherine and Mike survived the hunting trip on Desperate Housewives, will their relationship survive as well?
Dana Delaney
certainly hopes so: "Mike the plumber and I are getting closer and closer, and I'm hoping there's a future for us." Do you still like those two together? Post in the comments!

Marina in Caracas, Miranda, Venezuela: My question is about the death on House. I was wondering if it's the same "suicide in a major show" that your competition Ausiello just told us about?
As House himself would tell you, "Correlation does not imply causation." We have never and will never collude with our frenemies on a story. We may post a story at the same time as another outlet, but that does not necessarily mean it's about the same show or situation. Well, sometimes it isn't, and sometimes it is, but don't ever take it for granted either way.

Olive in Tasmania, Australia: Will we see more of Cynthia Watros or Michelle Rodriguez on Lost? I miss the Tailies!
Michelle Rodriguez
told E! News at the Fast & Furious junket, "I always leave my door open for [Lost] because [the producers are] really talented individuals, and I just love the show. But it's a freaking mystery, those guys! You just never know what's going to happen."

James in London: Sob. Battlestar Galactica is over.
Unreal, right? Check out our finale Redux and hang in there for more scoop on Caprica in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, Doc Arzt has some excellent thoughts on what the end of BSG tells about the Lost series finale to come.

ABC FAMILY/EIKE SCHROTER

Cassandra: Please add Kyle XY to your Save One Show campaign in April. Kyle's story isn't finished yet, and the fans at savekylexy.com are doing all they can to bring it back.
Thank you for your hundreds of emails! Here's the sitch right now: There aren't any plans to finish up Kyle's story. A rep for the show tells us, "Right now there isn't anything planned to wrap up the storyline on film (like a movie or webisodes).

Jasmine in Jackson, Tenn.: Is Khandi Alexander ever coming back to CSI: Miami?
Miami
star Emily Procter tells us that they're hoping Khandi can make a return appearance on the show: "We've got our fingers crossed. Khandi's got a new show, but there is a storyline [they are writing for] her for the beginning of next season, so we're crossing our fingers that she will be available. Her new show [Tremé] is on cable, and the schedule tends to be the opposite, so I think she might have time [to do CSI: Miami]."

Emma in Minehead, U.K.: Have you heard anything about a possible Tudors spinoff?
Executive producer Michael Hirst says, "By calling the series The Tudors, we've at least given ourselves the possibilities of doing other Tudors. Elizabeth has been done to death, but Mary and Edward haven't and even Henry's father hasn't." Which Tudor family member would you most like to see spun off? Post in the comments. (By the way, if you haven't seen it yet, you can grab some season-three scoop and the season premiere online right now!)

Athena in Mendocino, Calif.: You mentioned on Twitter about a casting on Cougartown, what's the scoop?
In case you missed the tweet, Carolyn Hennesy of General Hospital has joined the cast of Courteney Cox and Bill Lawrence's new show Cougartown. Carolyn tells us, "I work in the same real estate office that [Courteney] does. I'm very ladylike and conservative, and then at night it's literally like Jekyll and Hyde. The claws come out, and the men have to go into hiding—the young men are all very afraid."

Maggie in Birmingham, Ala.: Can you shed any light on this hectic One Tree Hill situation?
Despite Chad Michael Murray's claim that, "They haven't even called me up to say, 'Hey we want you back...nothing,' " CMM's people are in negotiations with the One Tree Hill studio. Sounds like we can all brace ourselves for a cliffhanger ending to season six.

Melora in Phoenix: Got any news on my Lost lovahs?
Did you see our wedding scoop? Our money is on Ji-Yeon and Aaron, but Juliet and Sawyer are totally leading the poll.

CW

Tamara in New York City: Gossip Girl fan here. I want Blair and Chuck scoop!
Tonight's C-B kiss (yes, kiss!) on Gossip Girl is wildly hot and happens in the midst of a totally classic Bluck confrontation scene. You could even call it Blucking up against a wall! Truly, if your devotion to the Chair relationship includes any kind of tolerance for "angst," this is the episode for you. As for you Chuck-Blair hard-liners (you want it and you want it now), the kiss is not the kind of loving reconciliation you're hoping for. In fact, by the end of the episode, Blair and Nate's new thing is well underway. Sad face.

Samantha in Pomona, Calif.: How about some scoop on Rufus and Lily for once!
Rufus and Lily are giving Gossip Girl a Lost-style TiVo moment. They decide to make lists of their past sexual assignations, and Lily's list includes such rock star names as Slash and Trent Reznor. Save the screengrabs as a keepsake checklist for when the show-not-called-Lily premieres!

Mike: Any news on what's up for Nate on Gossip Girl?
Nate's the center of tonight's episode, and hey, it turns out that he's actually New York political royalty. And as Spider-Man and the Kennedys already know, with great power comes great responsibility but not enough time for loved ones. Will Nate's family obligations mean the end of his love affair with V? Tune in tonight to find out!

Nancy in Cleveland: Got any more Desperate Housewives news, other than Nicollette Sheridan leaving?
According to Ricardo Chavira, things are smooth sailing ahead for Carlos and Gabrielle (Eva Longoria Parker) on Desperate Housewives. "Eva and I have both said we're kind of tired of doing the constant [back and forth] where there is always one of us cheating on the other one or there is some sort of triangle," he says. So is the marriage going to be stable for a while? "I hope that they think our characters have matured over five seasons and we can handle something like that." Meanwhile, Ricardo is shopping his TV scripts. "I'm actively working on getting one of those produced, and I'm getting a lot of positive feedback from networks. It's a drama, and it's about the border." Attention networks: Please buy the nice man's pilot script. Kthx!

Beth in New Orleans: What can you tell us about the House episode with Mos Def?
The teaser for next Monday's episode ("Locked In," March 30) will totally freak you out. Mos Def plays a patient with locked-in syndrome, which means he's paralyzed and can only communicate by blinking, but he understands everything going on around him. The ep is told from the perspective of his character's thoughts. An Emmy-worthy performance by Mr. Def, for sure. As for the fun stuff: There's a brief moment of flirting between House and Cuddy (the words "I'll tie you up" are uttered), and it's revealed that one of the main characters has been seeing a shrink.

Steve Sands

Amber in Dalton, Ga.: Thanks for this weekend's scoop on Hilary Duff appearing on Law & Order: SVU. Can you tell us more about the episode?
Why certainly! Hilary Duff plays Ashlee Walker, a "rebellious, trashy, slutty, irresponsible young mother" who is suspected of murdering her baby Sierra. Gail O'Grady plays her alcoholic, white-trash mother, Ruth Walker, who battles with her daughter constantly. It'll be great to see Duff dirty it up a bit, don't you think?

Melissa in Miami: What's coming up for Heroes?
The end of the season is as supercharged as Ando! Jack Coleman tells us, "The last five episodes are really leading up to a shocking finale. There's a lot going on." The extremely scoopy details of what's to come are in tonight's Redux, but until then Greg Grunberg teases a nasty throwdown: "There's a whole fight in a hotel room—huge—with a chair with blood all over it." So, whose blood do you think it is?

Kyle in Los Angeles: Loving The Office this season. Any new info?
Last week show runner Jen Celotta told fans that new boss Charles Miner (Idris Elba), "Continues to not be impressed with Jim." What? Who wants to live in a world where Jim is not universally beloved?! Not us. Oh, and speaking of new boss Charlie Miner, Leslie David Baker says that Stanley isn't necessarily going to be delighted with the departure of old boss Michael Scott. It "depends," says Baker, on whether the new boss is better for Stanley's fortunes than the old boss. Last but not least, Kate Flannery spills that in the season finale, "We'll answer some old questions." Like what? Post your guesses in the comments!

Adam Taylor/FOX

Scott in Minneapolis: What's coming up on Dollhouse?
Ever wonder what would happen if the Actives on Dollhouse suddenly woke up? Well, your wishes are granted in the April 6 episode "Needs." Five Actives—Echo (Eliza Dushku), Victor, Sierra, November and Mike—suddenly awaken and question where they are, what they are doing there and who is in control. The Actives start to remember things about their real lives and reveal more of their backstories, including the fact that November left someone very important behind when she entered the Dollhouse.

Henry R.: When will we get another Observer ep of Fringe?
On April 7 we definitely get an "Observer?" episode of Fringe. We say Observer with a question mark because the team finds a bald, silent and seemingly empathic child who never eats or pees and who looks a lot like an Observer mini-me, but whose, uh, peccadilloes could be explained by perfectly reasonable science. Then again, this is Fringe, so he's got to be a wee Observer...right?

Adam in Sacramento, Calif.: Do you have any inside info about Ghost Whisperer?
Show runner P.K. Simonds broke the news to us that Melinda is preggers with Jim's baby, but that's not all he had to say about Ghost Whisperer's newest castmember: It's a "very special baby with an important role to play," who will inherit unique abilities from Melinda. But Melinda's "new, young apprentice," says Simonds, also possesses "other kinds of gifts that we haven't explored on the show yet."

NBC

Steve in Santa Monica, Calif.: What's James Van Der Beek up to these days? I miss him on the small screen.
The former Dawson's Creek hottie will appear on the April 6 episode of Medium as "a very strange" son of a mother who's gone missing. We love it when Dawson goes dark. Did you see him in Criminal Minds a few years back? Creepy-sexy cool! (Added bonus for this episode, Amanda Detmer guest stars as Joe's sister. Yay!) In other guest star news, Rumer Willis appears in the episode "The First Bite Is the Deepest." What we love about that is that show runner Glenn Gordon Caron gets to work with the daughter of the star of one of his biggest shows, Bruce Willis (Moonlighting). Cool, huh?

Noelle in Tampa, Fla.: Will there ever be a love interest for Abby on NCIS?
We asked NCIS' Pauley Perrette this same question, and she told us, "I don't know. She and McGee always have their little love for each other, but we never know where that's going. She kind of loves everyone a little bit." Watch out for the Abby-centric upcoming episode "Toxic" on April 7, where she gets out of the lab for once to do work for someone else. "I had a sinus infection and 101-degree fever during the shooting of that episode," she says. "The gag reel is going to be me sneezing!"

Brittany in Vermont: Got any scoop on The Secret Life of the American Teenager?
There's a big shocker in the next season of, according to Shailene Woodley, who plays Amy Juergens. She tells us, "Next season we heard that someone dies. I can't imagine any character not on the show, so I have no idea who it might be." (And don't forget to watch this season's finale tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC Family!)

Cliff Lipson/CBS

Kelly in Nassau, Bahamas: Any news on The Mentalist? I love that show.
Just that ol' smiley face is back. Yep, in episode 21 of The Mentalist, called "Red John's Footsteps," bloody smiley faces start appearing around town following the kidnapping of twin sisters. Do you think it's really him, or could it be another copycat?

Fabian in Tampa, Fla.: Do you know any news about season six of Entourage? Thanks!
Could Vincent Chase's one true love, Mandy Moore, be returning to Entourage?! Perrey Reeves (aka Mrs. Ari) tells me, "We have some really good girl [characters] this year, [including] some people returning [who] maybe nobody knew they'd be back, so that's kind of exciting." Hmmm, Mandy or not Mandy? Post your theories in the comments.

Alan in Seattle: When are we going to see a Sheldon relationship storyline on The Big Bang Theory?
We caught up with The Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons, who plays Sheldon, at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation's 30th College Television Awards and he told us, "I think we have a couple of more seasons to go before we'll see [Sheldon in love]. No matter how much I beg and plead, there's never any love in that way. I always thought that with Sheldon and Sara Gilbert's character, Leslie Winkle, the passion would have to burn hot. The hate does, so why wouldn't the love? But I don't think that's going to happen. I've said that out loud on the set and nobody takes me up on it." The friendly hate between Sheldon and Penny also burns hot, what about those two? "How drunk would that [situation] have to be?!" laughs Jim.

Michelle in St. Petersburg, Fla.: I miss my Duchovny. Any news on Californication?
The show is gearing up for new episodes as we speak. Season three of Californication features Charlie and Marcy's ongoing divorce proceedings (sadness) and new neighbors for the Moodys, including a suburban mom who is sooo going to find herself seduced by Hank.

Patrick Ecclesine/TBS

Nathan in Sacramento, Calif.: I'm excited for My Boys to come back. What's coming up on the show?
Well, for one thing, there's a My Boys 'stache off. Jordana Spiro (P.J. Franklin) explains, "The boys all grow mustaches for a very serious and mad mustache competition." Adds Kellee Stewart (Stephanie), "Jamie Kaler has the coolest one, but Mike Bunin had the creepiest one." As for the sexiest mustache, Jordana says it is hands down Reid Scott. "He looked like the lead singer of the Killers. He killed me! I had to have him shave it off because it was going to get me in trouble. I'm not single."

Mike in Hackensack, N.J.: How I Met Your Mother scoop please!
In tonight's episode, "Old King Clancy," more of Robin's (Cobie Smulders) Canadian "culture" comes out. The gang discusses, in lengthy detail, "various Canadian sex act euphemisms," says a source. An actual website is mentioned in the episode and will be up and running by the time the show airs. Plus, there's a special guest appearance (on the website, not on the show) by a Mr. Alan Thicke that will shock and amaze you.

Hilary in London: I adore United States of Tara, and Sunday's episode was heartbreaking. Got any scoop?
If you're young, gay and in love with a closeted jock, getting the one-armed guy hug is a sure sign of rejection, right? (If yes, then, well, Marshall and Jason appear to be over for now.) Also coming this Sunday, some inspired wisdom from Kate (Brie Larson) to little bro Marshall (Keir Gilchrist) on the occasion of his heartbreak: "If you take a pill to make everything better, then you never know when things are f--ked up, and if you don't know when things are f--ked up, then you can't fix it yourself." Heed her words, children. She knows of what she speaks.

NBC/ Bill Records

Jamie in Irvine, Calif.: Is Friday Night Lights is going to be back! Any word on what the potential season four will bring?
As a matter of fact, we were just able to get some great insights into next season from the FNL castmembers themselves! Kyle Chandler tells us that his transfer across town may open up some new doors for the people of Dillon. "Coach has been moved into the poor part of town, and we have no pool to draw from for a football team. I think it opens up [the show] to be far more representative, having more Hispanics in the show, blacks in the show. And then also just being the underdogs going up against my old show where my wife is still principal." Any chance Tami Taylor will follow Coach to the wrong side of the tracks? Connie Britton has her theories! "I think it would be interesting if she did, but it may be too difficult to depict in the show. It could also be interesting if I also go over there and we're both struggling at this school that is just falling apart." Mind you none of this is set in stone, as Connie is quick to point out, "We generally leave that stuff to the writers because their ideas are going to be 10 times better than anything I'd have an idea for!" Pshaw!
