Heroes fans of the world, let's all bow down together and say it: Thank you, Greg Grunberg!

After the show's beloved Chicken Little twittered speculation earlier this week that Heroes might not live on another season—prompting fan panic and Ali Larter to lovingly call Greg a "twitter"—the NBC honchos apparently felt compelled to set the record straight.

"No," NBC entertainment president Angela Bromstad just told The Hollywood Reporter when asked if Heroes can be classified as a series that is "on the bubble" for fall, adding that the network plans to order 18-20 episodes of the show for next season.

Hurrah! A full...er, well, almost a full-season pickup! (The show produced 25 episodes for the current third season.)

And speaking of full...er (see what I did there?), I'm also hearing scoop on the just-returned prodigal producer Bryan Fuller (Pushing Daisies), who has come to save the day...

"I would trust that man with my life," Ali tells me of Fuller, the first-season producer who returned to Heroes several weeks ago. "We are all so happy to have him back—you have no idea. I really think he's bringing back what fans loved in the first season." So don't give up that DVR season pass just yet—Fuller's work has not yet aired.

NBC sources tell me that the Peacock net is hoping Fuller will stick around through the following season, though so far, no deal has been struck.

Though Heroes' ratings have slumped this season (starting off around 10 million and dipping this past Monday to 7 million), Bromstad pointed out that the series does well overseas. "Every single place you go has heard about Heroes, whether you're in China or Japan or Russia," she said. "And to me, that is global content."

Nothing will be official until NBC announces its new fall schedule in May in New York City, so you know that saying about the chickens and the hatching? Remember that, but also know that at this moment, all signs are pointing toward go.

Do you want Heroes to stick around? Anything else you'd like Greg to twitter about so we can get it cleared up pronto?
