Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, had an airport arrival on Saturday more befitting The Beatles, according to an eyewitness. Crowds of photographers and fans went crazy for a glimpse of the former Spice Girl after she landed at Los Angeles International Airport.

"I haven't seen that kind of madness in a while," an eyewitness tells E! News. "It wasn't like it was Michael Jackson or the Beatles. It was just Posh coming home."

David and Victoria Beckham are super, to be sure.

But Marvel Comics kingpin Stan Lee, who created Spider-Man, Fantastic Four and The Incredible Hulk with artists Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, says he wants to turn the couple into superheroes (without using gamma rays or radioactive spiders, we presume).

Lee's also worked with Pamela Anderson on the series Stripperella, and is developing works with Ringo Starr, Hugh Hefner and Paris Hilton, but…really?

"They're great looking, talented and colorful. Now here's the exciting part: Just imagine how cool they'd be in a humorous, good-natured show that depicts them as—you guessed it—superheroes," Lee told Access Hollywood.

We're trying. Would you want to see the couple in skintight crime-fighting outfits? And if so, what would their powers be?

UPDATE: Gareth Emmett, the 25-year-old son of alleged Beckham-household thieves Eric and June Emmett, has also been taken into custody for questioning in connection with the investigation, according to Britain's Daily Mail.

"I cannot comment on that," Eric Emmett told the paper.

Posh and Paris got all PVC'd out this weekend.

To promote her perfume, Victoria Beckham wore thigh-high, heel-less $6,000 Antonio Berardi boots (and was still able to walk in them). Posh knows how to sell. Would we care that she was launching a fragrance if she hadn’t worn such ridiculous shoes? Definitely not.

In New York for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, the former Spice Girl managed to steal the spotlight (and really, when does she not?) at the Marc Jacobs fashion show Monday with her awesome new pixie cut.

"It was clear that we had to go short and create a new look that embraced her beauty, great personality and body," says celebrity hairstylist Garren in a statement, adding he was aiming for something reminiscent of Mia Farrow in Rosemary's Baby and Audrey Hepburn.

We've probably mentioned a few times on this blog that we love Posh Spice. She’s fierce, sassy, has way adorable kids and usually we can get behind whatever crazy outfit she pulls out of her closet.

However, on the other side of the love scale is, of course, the things we hate. And on this hate scale you’ll hit jumpsuits. So what do we do when someone we love wears something we detest so much?

Well, we just have to let it go—you can’t win every outfit.

But what happens if on the same day as the jumpsuit incident, this person wears a completely respectable white dress with a cute headpiece but attaches a polar bear rug to her back?

Victoria Beckham has had it up to here with tabloids trying to get the skinny on her figure.

The glamorous Brit is reportedly gearing up to sue the U.K. magazine Now over an article that claimed she was "hooked on sex and diet pills," which has since mysteriously vanished from the rag's website (though search results confirm the story once existed).

"The accusation is dangerous, defamatory and blatantly untrue," Beckham's agent, Jo Milloy, said Monday, referring to the latter half of that statement.

"Victoria takes her position as a role model to young women very seriously and is horrified by this hurtful, fabricated story. It is now with her lawyers."
