Diva-Meter: Tyra Banks Reeks of Attitude

If you'd asked us a while ago who's the bigger diva-like be-yotch, Beyoncé or Tyra Banks, we might have had to pause and think. Well, not anymore! We got fan reports from the BET Awards that totally prove Tyra needs a 'tude check, like ASAP.

When yelled at by some straggling gawkers, Beyoncé took the time to wave and talk to some fans around the Shrine Auditorium in downtown L.A., where the award show took place. B, looking mucho Sasha Fierce, would wave, smile and say hi wherever yelling crowds tried to get her attention. She even stopped to pose for pics, on and off the carpet. Hell, even Kanye West did too—and that says a lot when talking about big egos.

So what did Miss Banks do?

Tyra Banks: Model or Mogul?

We've already shared our thoughts on how we see Tyra Banks sorta as fashion roadkill in the modeling biz. Seriously, when was the last time you saw this supposed Top Model go get all high fashion on our asses? Ms. Banks is being groomed for bigger and better things now, and you know she's got her sights set on Oprah's throne.

We chatted with CariDee English, winner of America's Next Top Model, cycle 7, to see if the babe would be willing to share her real thoughts on Tyra.

Does Tyra Want to Give Up Her TV Empire?

Out of all the bigass disappointments at the Met Costume Gala—and there were a ton—the biggest one by far was Tyra Banks. Not her fashion choice, tho we can't say we fell head over stilettos in love with that odd black frock. It was the typically mouthy babe's total lack of personality.

"Tyra Banks was so far from her funny and cool persona on her TV show," says a fellow galagoer. "She was way too 'model' and was just flashing model faces left and right. I hated that."

Tyra keeping quiet? What friggin' alternate universe are we in? Could she be realizing that she shouldn't turn her back on her former career just yet?
