Imagine you are elderly and confined to a nursing home.

You're sitting in your wheelchair, peacefully drifting in and out, when suddenly you are surrounded by clowns.

Is it dementia kicking in? Does the sheer shock of the garishly painted faces, the enormous fright wigs, the twisted grins induce cardiac arrest? Or do you pull out your souvenir WWII Nazi luger that you keep under your blanket and start blowing them away?

None of the above, according to this clown outreach ministry video, which reveals that the elderly are vulnerable, lonely and "long for touch."
