Some say there are no second chances in life, but not so in the world of golden boy Ryan Seacrest. Fans may recall his ill-fated attempt to toss a high-five to Idol hopeful Scott MacIntyre; a slightly problematic gesture, as MacIntrye is legally blind.
Last night, however, helpful Mac (or "Scotty the Body," in Seacrest terminology) made certain there would be no embarrassing air slapping, offering up a "stationary target" for a thankful Ryan, who showed his gratitude by alerting the visually challenged singer to the fact that Simon Cowell is British.
