Brad Pitt Makes Us Feel Less Grinch-Like

Brad Pitt, Melba Baxter, Life & Style Weekly Life and Style Weekly

'Tis the season to spread cheer and such, so we'll take a bitchy break for a sec and applaud those goodie types like...gasp Brangelina.

Hurricane Katrina survivor Melba Leggett-Barnes recently spilled to Life & Style just how much Brad Pitt's Make It Right foundation has helped her after she was left with nothing but slippers. She now lives in one of the first houses built by the foundation back in New Orleans.

Barnes said that Bradly "comes to the house all the time—he's just like a relative!" She added, "We ate gumbo. I made it, he loved it." Did our heart just grow two more sizes?

We heart that Brad actually takes the time to follow up with what he's started. It makes his humanitarian efforts more genuine and less annoying than, say, Angelina's. But we'll give credit when due, and clearly B's charity work has stepped up since shacking up with A.

Now, we hate to say, but this really isn't how the dude was with Jen.
