Is Booze the New Blow? Ask Ed and Rob

Robert Pattinson ANG/Fame Pictures

Lindsay Lohan & Co. truly served as role models of what not to do, 'cause young Hollywood's drug of choice isn't so much in powder form anymore as it is in liquid. At least, if L.A.'s white lining is as popular as it once was, our best partiers sure are hiding it a hell of a lot better.

Instead, alcohol has been the preferred intoxication method amongst the young'uns, par-tick with two of our absolute fave rising stars...

Robert Pattinson and Ed Westwick. We separately reported on each of their booze behavior, like Rob's audition routine and Ed's piano bar manner, and since have been getting oodles of reports about just how often these two like to throw 'em back. "Rob has to be completely smashed every time he goes out," dishes a Pattinson hanger-on, saying R can always be found at a bar during his downtime.

And out east, sources who live in Westwick's NYC apartment building claim Ed doesn't always come home seamlessly: "He stumbles in almost every night," insists one of these wobble witnesses.

Oh come on, if cameras followed around any twentysomething, we'd be seeing similar behavior. But just because it's legal doesn't mean it ain't dangerous. Careful boys, we really do love ya, and we'd hate to see you in a jobless, drooling hump in the passenger seat of your friend's car. It would just ruin all our fantasies about you both.
