Morning Piss: America Rewrites History

You’ve seen them, I’m sure. These legions of detractors complaining that it’s gay people’s fault for causing all this Prop 8 ruckus. We should just “get over it,” “accept it”—nonsense like that (as if Rosa Parks was supposed to just accept sitting in the back of the bus, I suppose?). And now we’re also being blamed for, among other things, showing who contributed to the Prop 8 campaign, by name, as well as targeting a church for its right of free speech. What about ours?

“Yeah, don’t get me started,” piped Jenny McCarthy, when asked how she felt about the unfair situation. “It’s a weird thing,” remarked Harry Hamlin, better known as handsome hubby to big-lipped Lisa Rinna. “America changed the Constitution [by passing Prop 8] to revoke rights, rather than to give rights. But I don't think it's over yet. There's a long road ahead. There's going to be a lot of court activity around the result.” You have no idea, Harry. And the Mormons are the leading authors of this new revocation age, let the record state. This is pathetic as Marie Osmond’s taste in dresses.
