Mario Lopez's Lovers Drop Shoes, Niceties

Given the volume of classy Hollywood ladies on the desperate hunt for free things this past Emmy weekend, gotta say you were bound to find one or 10 females in a swag suite who had all happened to share the same man. This little mattress mishap indeed occurred at Kari Feinstein's Style Lounge in Bev Hills during the previous awards frenzy, specifically, when Mario Lopez's 16-week-long bride, Ali Landry, collided with his recent yearlong paramour, Karina Smirnoff.

Handlers placed the gals at opposite ends of Nine West's private suite in the Hillside home, where the good-lookin' babes were fitted for shoes and boots as well as fab fall accessories like oversize fringe bags. All for free! What's an overindulged discarded femme to do? Make herself feel better, that's what. Only Landry was faring better:

"Ali didn't even know who [Karina] was," one leathery spy said. Karina certainly had a different experience, however.

"It was awkward for Karina," the snafu-witness relayed, regarding Smirnoff, who then turned to her assistant and piped like she was in some kind of painfully uncomfortable John Guare play, "'All we need is what's his face and it's Six Degrees of Separation.'"

Uh, Karina—if it's Mario Lopez we're dealing with, we guess, a lot less than six. Just a hunch.
